Compliance with Data Protection Policies
Shomi ensures full compliance with Data Protection Policies in all its operations. The transcription process utilizes:
Service operated by Microsoft in EuropeService operated by Google in EuropeService operated by Speechmatics in Europe For interaction with Shomi on a transcript, an AI service operated in Europe by Google and Microsoft is used.
Data Usage & Retention
As Shomi leverages paid services from Microsoft, Google and Speechmatics, all hosted in Europe, user data is not used for AI model training.Transcripts and recordings are stored in Summa data centers as part of the service, with a current retention period of one month. The retention policy is under continuous evaluation and updates will be provided as necessary.Voicemail transcripts are retained for a period of 90 days. AI Model Assessment & Optimization
